"Why did I take this?"

 Sometimes I take photos without really knowing why until later. That was the case with this photo:

I found this wooden planter outside of a bookstore, and someone had written the phrase "I wanna see my name!" on it. Something about it stuck to me, but I couldn't figure out what it was. During the editing process, it finally hit me. Upon adding a grayscale filter to this shot, I realized that this is the type of photo my grandfather would take. He and I share a similar eye for different things to take pictures of.

I really enjoy taking photos such as this one.
